Three things are worth checking before confirming, because listings often leave them out: whether parking is included, whether there is a washing machine in the unit, and whether air conditioning is fitted. On a fortnight in August all three matter more than the view.

Within half an hour lie Gardaland, Parco Sigurta and the villages of Borghetto sul Mincio and Castellaro Lagusello, while Verona and Brescia are around thirty-five minutes. A position that lets you change destination every day without ever exceeding an hour on the road, which is not possible from the upper lake.
